Big week

This is a picture from my first mothers day! I have been so blessed. I have an amazing husband even though sometimes I don't always appreciate it, and thanks to my husband we now have an amazing son, Jaden. On mother's day I was woken up to my husband taking our son to get my gift ready. I was then presented with a HUGE bag of dark chocolate m&m's and a nice card signed by both my boy's. Granted, Aaron had to help Jaden sign. Seeing as Jaden is not much of a morning person he made it quite difficult. It was cute all the same. After I woke up and got ready my mother arrived in town to celebrate the day with us. We all went out to our first farmers market of the year and came away with the most amazing produce. We then went out to lunch. Red Robin was the place of choice. It was quite filling, seeing as I didn't even need to eat dinner later that night! YUM! After lunch we all just went home. Aaron and Jaden took a nap and my mom and I had a little quiet chat before she headed back for home. I could not have asked for a better day!

This week has also been filled with packing, packing, and MORE PACKING! Our living room is soo full of boxes. I think tomorrow I am going to attempt to pack up the kitchen. It will have to be done during nap time. We will also be leaving for my MIL house on friday morning so I will have to find time to pack my bag and Jaden's bag. It's only over night thank goodness. I am looking forward to seeing family.

Well looks like I will have to cut this short. . . someone woke from their nap very hungry!

My First Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all you mom's! This morning I was woken up by my husband and son presenting me with a cute card and my favorite dark chocolate M&M's. YUM. My mother came into town today to celebrate with us. We first went to the farmers market and bought a bunch of yummy produce to make the most amazing salad's you have ever tasted! It was also interesting because Aaron has been in a real 'surviver man' mode and wanted to learn about edible plants. He has been wanting to test Dandilion leaves. Well low and behold a guy was actually selling them! Woah.. and gave us a bunch of recipies to use them in. It was super awesome. I haven't tried them yet so we will see. Apparently it is an aquired taste. We sill see...
After the farmers market we then went out to lunch to Red Robin YUMMM.. hehe it was super good. I think I drank to much water at lunch.. would you say more than five glasses is too much? By the time we finished we were all beat! We came back to our apartment and chilled out. Jaden was awake and hungry by that time so it seemed like a good idea. Overall I would say that this was a nice casual mothers day. I am happy to have a great husband and son and family.

In other news. . . . We will oficially be moving in next weekend WHOO-HOO. We will have about a good four days of good moving time. I hope we can just knock out the whole place by then before I go back to work.

Time to go Have a great rest of the day all you mom's ! ! ! !

One Month and other updates...

This is a little late but Jaden has turned one month! I can't believe how fast time flies.. I'm enjoying every min. of it all. He is growing like a little weed. He can hold himself up on a boppy pillow when we do tummy time. He is really starting to notice and study the world around him. He loves looking at light sources. He loves playing with his little octopus. I think he likes it because when he hits it (even though he doesn't realize that is what he is doing) it jingles, and rattles. It's super cute to watch. He is working on building up his muscles. He is very strong for his age. He has all the motions down for crawling the arms, the legs, he just doesn't get that they have to be used together. Now I'm not rushing for him to crawl but I love watching and waiting for the day he does it. I love all these fun milestones!

Okay in other news we will be moving soon! WHOO- HOO!! More room for this cramped mamma! Word is the present owners have started moving, which means we are a few days closer to be able to start moving in ourselves. We have done the first paper work to take over the lot that our house resides on. The guy who manages the lot is definatle the old cranky man type. He definately fits the stereotype. This should be interesting. We are scheduled to meet the owner of the park this sunday. I'm assuming it's just to meet and go over the rules and such. They will probably ask us to fix up the house. They have been getting on the current owners to fix up the place for a long time. Especially painting the outside. Well I'm here to tell you I can't WAIT to fix this place up. something about doing this because it's our own home. I love that thought. I really hope everything goes over well and we can move and transition smoothly. I really cannot wait to be a homemaker of my own home. Wish us luck!
I hope this finds you all well. God Bless.

Love.
